Week of March 28th-April 1

For this week's blog, I want your opinion on the President's decision to become involved in Libya. Your opinion must be backed up by evidence. Answer this question in 1-3 paragraphs.

Do you think the President made the right decision in becoming involved in the conflict in Libya? Why? or Why not?

Thank you and I expect your name, date, and class period to be signed at the bottom of your posting.

Thanks :)

Thanks to everyone who posted. Your thoughts showed your ability to take a situation and wrestle wth it intelligently, thank you for staying professional and appropriate as this is just an extension of the classroom. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you on Monday.

On Monday we will discuss how much we as a class want to spend utilizing this page as a springboard for discussions and assignments. So, be thinking whether or not you would mind using this to communicate more about issues in the class and in Civics.

Thanks!

Here is the first article. Identify if the issue is local (Oregon), national, or international. Then, state what the issue is. What is the problem that the article is written about. Finally, what is your opinion about the event the article is written about? Do you agree with the decision? Disagree? Why or why not?
