Week 4: You Initial Reaction...

Thanks everyone who posted on time this last week. For this next week I have already found an article. Follow the link below and again write you NAME and CLASS PERIOD on your blog comment. I want you to, using two examples from the article, reflect on the article by stating your initial reactions to it. What are your initial reactions about the situation upon reading the article.

Week 3...

This week, follow the link below, read the article. State whether this is an international, national, or local issue. Then write one fact from the article/event, write a personal opinion about the article/event, and then write one generalization about the article/event. This should be three paragraphs. Thanks to everyone who posted. Your thoughts showed your ability to take a situation and wrestle wth it intelligently, thank you for staying professional and appropriate as this is just an extension of the classroom. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you on Monday.

On Monday we will discuss how much we as a class want to spend utilizing this page as a springboard for discussions and assignments. So, be thinking whether or not you would mind using this to communicate more about issues in the class and in Civics.

Getting Started

Here are your requirements. You are to post once a week on this site. It will be in response to what I have posted. I will post an article or a news clip, or I may have you post an article or relevant news clip in response to a question that I post to the class. You must respond with at least 1 paragraph, it must not exceed 3 paragraphs.
